Well organized institution, very neat and comfortable.
The service was 10/10.
We looked for a place near Kyalami, which is close to everything and found everything at one place.
The owner was very friendly, and the place itself is very nice. But we booked for 2 nights and only stayed for one. Was not very impressed with the general condition of the room. Although neat, the carpet in the room appeared dirty. There were also leaves and other dirt on the carpet - as if the room had not been properly cleaned, and the carpets had not been washed in a very long time. Room smells stuffy and not fresh. Bedding looks old and not fresh / clean, and sheet was torn on the side (big store hook tear). DStv did not work, and no other channels were available, not even regular E-tv or channels 1,2 or 3. Bedside lamp did not work. Although it is advertised that meals are available upon request, we were informed that this was not an option and were given directions to the nearest shopping center for meals. Had trouble getting in and out of the gate, and only later (after many calls and a long wait in front of the gate) was a Whatsapp sent informing us what the gate's "call code" was. Bathroom could do with a box or two for storage and maybe a hook or two more. The general feeling is that the place needs upgrading. Although the owner tried to sort out the DStv problem, he could not, and the option was suggested that we should move to another room (+- 20h00 in the evening). We didn't feel like packing everything up and moving again, and just stayed there. The next morning we packed up and left, even though we had booked for another night. The owner called later in the afternoon and said that the DStv would be ready now - but yes, by then we were out for a long time. I would suggest that the person handling the reservations make sure everything is clean, intact and in working order before people check in, it was really uncomfortable sitting there in night clothes (while we were eating dinner) and the people of the place in the room have as they try to sort out the DStv. Not very professional! No what, sorry, but I think there are better places to spend the night.
For the two days I had been there, there was no one at reception. I had to call every time I needed assistance from reception.

Small unit. Clean and tidy. And close to amenities. The unit I stayed in (Main 2) could use some attention: bed and pillows could do with a change; the blinds in the bathroom didn't work (or work properly), and the windows were hard to close; one window couldn't close and had to remain open (which brought in some bugs). Early check out at 9am isn't that nice, either.
Excellent, friendly service! Very nice clean and tidy! Conveniently located between Jhb and Pretoria, although it will be a bit difficult to find if you don't have a GPS or access to Google Maps! Other than that, everything was great!
Salt of the earth owners, friendly, warm, and welcoming. Excellent self-catering accommodation (fully stocked with all necessities) for a fraction of the cost! Will definitely stay there again.

This is horse world, so you have to be satisfied with the basics. Upon my arrival the receptionist did not appear professional. Even the next morning when I left, the same lady appeared unprofessional again. It didn't impress me, but I've seen worse. The room was basic, but clean and tidy.

We have been in the Cherry Lodge for almost a week and have enjoyed the hospitality of Andrea and Alex. We also ate there and it was delicious. They were also very concerned about us after we had an accident. Take care of medicine and get the messenger. We felt at home!

We were a group of friends who spent the day at Kyalami. We had a great time with everythin gwe needed. We were there with motorcycles and had to pack light. We will stay there again if we have to be in the area. This is real value for money. It is clean, friendly with good service and peace of mind because of the security at the lodge. We will be using them again!
We spent the night here with friends and two teenagers. Very well located in relatively quiet area. We would definitely stay here again and would also recommend Cherry Lodge to anyone looking to stay in this part of Gauteng.

The hostess was very accommodating regarding the check-out time.
The room is spacious and the bathroom is very modern and tidy. Although I didn't expect it, there was a small kitchen area that was adequately equipped to prepare simple meals. The atmosphere is very peaceful and during the night it is wonderfully quiet.
Room was comfortable and large with all the essential kitchen facilities. Had to because medical tests stay longer than original booking and the owner extended our stay by 2 days at short notice. Grateful.

Very central location, great accommodation for business purposes. Hostess efficient and accommodating. "The Stables" by the road are beautifully laid out but quite noisy from traffic. Upon our request for a quieter accommodation, we were moved to more suitable rooms and had a most pleasant stay. The omelet for breakfast was very tasty. They serve wholesome food.
It was also near my destination.
